Sand Peeper is Edie Harper’s cat at the beach, face set against a hot arc of orange, gold, and pink, the rest of the picture a scatter of shells, sand dollars, and butterflies on pale sand. Released as a 1981 serigraph, it is her version of a peeper: not a bird in the grass, but a cat watching the shoreline from the edge of the umbrella. The geometry is playful and flat, summer reduced to a few colors and the stare. Printed on a cotton-polyester canvas with a proprietary coating that holds the color and detail, it sits in an FSC-certified pinewood frame in multiple sizes and four finishes, with sawtooth hanging hardware already attached.
Please note: Due to the production process of the canvases, please allow for slight size deviations with a tolerance +/- 1/8" (3.2mm).
