Monteverde Cloud Forest is Charley Harper’s 1999 poster from the trip he and Edie took to Costa Rica, a vertical slice of cloud forest packed with 39 of the plants and animals local children showed them. The note that first went out with the poster says he carried the excitement, color, and vibrant life of the forest into the picture, a looking glass into one of the most diverse and fragile forests in the world. Quetzals, frogs, orchids, and insects stack in his minimal realism, each reduced to the shape that names it.
Printed on a cotton-polyester canvas with a proprietary coating that holds the color and detail, it sits in an FSC-certified pinewood frame in four finishes, available in vertical sizes only, with sawtooth hanging hardware already attached.
Please note: Due to the production process of the canvases, please allow for slight size deviations with a tolerance +/- 1/8" (3.2mm).
